Natural Indoor Lighting

Well with the probability of me doing newborn shots, I wanted to try and practice indoor lighting. Lots of mommies do not want to take their newborns outside in the elements for pictures. So I started practicing in our empty room that has 3 windows and the room is empty until we get a guest bed. So I hung up some curtains as my background (until I can afford something more!) and went to work. We didn't shoot long but my little girl tries so hard to be creative. She was laying on her back throwing her feet in the air and making weird faces and all kinds of stuff! I was laughing so hard, but since she did all those weird things we didn't many "good" ones. We will try again soon!

Maternity

I had the wonderful opportunity to photography this beautiful lady. She was about 6 weeks till her due date and she asked me to do her maternity photos. I think many of them came out very nice, but she was a fantastic model! They morning was perfect and so beautiful. I have never been to the La Jolla Cove and I will surely go again! I hope to do more maternity photos and then hopefully work into newborns and more! I have a few more shoots lined up for next month and hopefully they all go as great as this one!

Balboa Park

We went to Balboa Park the other day and man is it beautiful. Silly me didn't get my settings correct but most the pictures I liked in black and white anyways. Here are my kiddos with their friends. The fountain was the most beautiful place! We will go back again very soon!

"Senior" Shots

Neither of these are seniors! One is my best friend Paige who will be a senior in 2 years and the other is my brother who is going to be joining the Army next month!! I wanted to have some different options and start my portfolio. Plus with my brother I wanted to give some pictures to my mom and allow her to have some actual senior photos from my brother since he never got them done. I am excited to have someone other than children!

Start of New Name and Hopefully a business soon

So I chose a name to suit me in a business when all leads there. I will be starting my portfolio building after the first of the year. I hope to get as much feedback as possible so please share any comments you have on my photos. I got some logos made for my photos so that no crazed person shall steal them from me! I will place them on all pictures posted here. If you are a friend or family member and would like the picture please email me or comment and I'll get it to you! I hope to keep adding more but for now I shall be off! Holidays are a crazy time of year and there is so much to do! I just wrapped all the kids gifts last night and it took me over an hour...man they are spoiled! But anyways! Will write again hopefully sooner rather than later! Oh BTW, thats just a crazy picture of my little girl!!

Halloween

I am hoping to start up practice session with other people and their kids to hopefully start a portfolio but in the mean time...enjoy these kiddos!! Can't get enough of them!

New and exciting

Ok so I got my new lens this past weekend. I am so excited. I started using it and this is what I got. I love practicing on my kids, but I think its coming time that I get some more practice...the kids are getting sick of me. My little girl keeps asking to go take picutres but its just a ploy to play outside! Haha. I also got Rylie a pettiskirt that she thinks is her "pretty skirt". So you will see more pics in that once I get a cute shirt to go with it.
